Some instability issues related to a memory leak were found on the X8400sc and X6500sc series and can be addressed by updating the firmware version of these cameras.

This is the list of models affected by such memory leak:

X8400sc, X6580sc, X6570sc, X6580sc, X6550sc, X6530sc, X6520sc

In order to update the camera firmware, first you will have to confirm if the updater version 0.1.108 or later. The updater version can be found by looking at the firmware revisions in the GUI or ResearchIR.

If the updater version is not 0.1.108 or later, do not update its firmware. In such case, the camera has to be serviced in FLIR Niceville.
