The FLIR X-Series firmware upgrade drives the already high-performing X69xx and X85xx families of cameras to a new level of excitement—at no additional cost. Take advantage of this upgrade to add the advanced recording and streaming features only found in the new X6980 and X8580 models, as well as receive standard bug fixes.

FLIR is so excited about these improvements that we are offering direct assistance with the upgrade. To contact a representative with Teledyne FLIR’s extensive field support, click the Request Upgrade button below.

New Features with the Upgrade:

  • Record up to 15 min at high frame rate, full frame resolution direct to the included 512 GB SSD (no need for a frame grabber or high-speed data recorder)
  • Unlock the potential to record up to 2 hours direct to a 4 TB SSD (not included)
  • Transfer data from the installed SSD to a connected PC or Mac over any streaming data bus, such as GigE, Camera Link, or CXP (no need to remove the SSD)
  • Take advantage of all that the new FLIR Research Studio v2.1 software has to offer
